We competed in competition track all together with 6 dogs. The distance of the bath was about 5-6 km long and there were 10 task points. Again I had to admit how bad am I in orienteering :( Already from the very beginning I headed to wrong point (O - the balloon point - were I had to blow the balloon full and keep it till the end of the bath). Later I got to know that near there was also one more task, that I didn't see and because of that we didn't do it. After that I headed to the first point - puzzle point. There I had do solve like first grade puzzle, so it seemed to me too easy and also too tricky, so I solved it too long time (wanted not to get the fine and run around the lake). After that I needed to find a bottle, where was a crossword to solve. Then there was a smell test - Aapo had to find in which of the box there is something in. Aapo did it good and chose the right box, in which were baked lungs. After that there was an obstacle track with tunnels, resistivities, etc. After that we should have done the balloon point and what we had done already, but the balloon had gone empty. So I had to blow it full again). Then there was a down stay trick point, what we did good. So we headed to finish, were was the last trick point - labyrinth. Aapo was so energetic, so he was a typical agility dog and jumped over the walls what he shouldn't have done. So we failed it 3 times and needed to do the fine ring - run around the lake :( Mostly we did good. But too bad I didn't see the one point, so we missed it and we got 5th place out of 6. After the competition we just enjoyed the event, participated in funny games, got to know little bit defence training and just had good time.
