The judge was Aljo Pärn.
The elements and results:
1. Accessibility - 9.5 p (koef 1). Aapo sat next to me nicely and moved towards the judge when she was approaching him.
2. Down stay - 0 p (koef 3). It's now the second time he hasn't done the down stay :( Aapo's friend Greta lied next to him and for some reason Grets run quicly to her owner. Aapo was a bit confused and then followed her. And after that all the dogs run after everyone. No excuse for that, need to train the down stay more in different environments and dogs.
3. Heeling on leash - 6,5 p (koef 2). That element made the day. First the judge noticed I'm holding the leash wrongly on my right hand - I hold the leash on my right hand coming behind my back. I got to know it is not allowed like that. Well my surprise was hugh, cause I've trained it from the very beginning. At least I got to know it on the unofficial competition. How bad would have this been to get to know or loose points from that stupid mistake in official competition... So I needed to do the element and hold the leash differently and it just was too different and unusual, Aapo loosed contact and everything went down from that...
4. Heeling without a leash - 5 p (koef 4). Later I got feedback from my trainingmates that I walked too slowly and made too sharp turns - I loosed contact with Aapo, he started sniffing and it came out awful. Need to walk more actively and speedy and not to do that sharp turns and quick stoppes. It's good to have someone watching you and giving you feedback in whatever event - it means a lot to me. Thank you :))
5. Going down while heeling - 0 p (koef 2). Aapo stopped and didn't lie down :(
6. Recall - 6,5 p (koef 3). Aapo came to me slowly, also didn't sat properly on my left side.
7. Stopping while heeling - 0 p (koef 2). Aapo stopped, but started sniffing and moved.
8. Over the fence - 9 p (koef 2). Aapo jumped over the fence nicely, but moved a bit when I was approaching him.
9. Impression - 7 p (koef 1).
All together 87 points (no rank) and 3rd place. All results you find here.
All together it was total failure :( Aapo was too distracted and sniffed a lot. I didn't get the right contact with him, but when I did, then the same I lost it :( I even thought to cancel the competition, but because the competition was arranged for the ringstewards, then I tried to continue, but it just wasn't our day :((
I think we haven't done so much trainings in different environments and with dogs and I have trained too much by myself. The weather that day was pretty good for training (cloudy, thundering and started to rain) - need to practice more in such circumstances. One good thing beside of all that sorrowness was that I got to practice some verbal prizing with Aapo, what worked good and made him more perky and active. Now I just need to learn how to make it work or carry the energy over to the elements. All together in real competitions you can't use treats and I just need to find the good tricks what would work in real competition and in different situations. That's why the unofficial competitions are good for that kind of experiments and I'm thankful for he organizers. After the two unofficial competitions and counting our results, I'm not even going to say that this time it was our lowest point ever.. But I hope it was.

On 15th august I went to see the TAKO arranged obedience competition. There I saw that the main problem with the dogs are the low motivation or willingness to work with the owner. Many dogs just died there and wanted to go away. But few dogs really impressed me of their perkyness and willigness to please they're owner and co-workness - and these teams gave me more eagerness and couragness to try more, train more and not to give up and maybe achieve the same one day...
