Vilnius Winter and Christmas Cup 2008

20. and 21. december we participated in Lithuania Vilnius Winter Cup and Vilnius Christmas Cup.

This time we decided to travel there with special dog-show trips arranging company MiliaM. The trip started already in friday 19. december morning. In our bus there were mostly dog-owners from Estonia and Finland. In Lithuania we stayd at the hotel Karolina. I think most of the people who were staying there for the weekend were dog owners and people who participated in the dog-shows. Well actually I truly hope so, cause first night some of the dogs made a choir and sang loud :) It wasn't very nice to hear. But happely the dogs were quiet the next night and probably because the dogs were tired and needed their beauty sleep.

The trip was actually really great, we collected so many good impressions of the show and people. But what was the most important - Aapo managed the trip very well. He wasn't afraid, sad or over tired. He stayd fresh and enjoyed the couple of days with his owner.

Valuation: excell. type, lovely head and expressions, lovely eyes, correct bite, good earset, lovely topline, well angulated in rare, little bit straight upperarm, good bones, moves very well from from all sides, good coat and colour.
Result: EXCELLENT. We got BOB junior title and JSERT. Judge made me a comment while chosen the BOB dog that next year Aapo will be nr 1 :) BOB got bitch Black Elles Con For Magic.

On the best junior competition the judge was John Walsh (Ireland) and we were chosen from over 100 dogs aside best 20 dogs.
That day Aapo became EST, LV, LT and BALT JCH!

Valuation: good size and substance, good coat and condition, good lenght of head, correct bite, angulations and moves free, needs better stop.
Result: EXCELLENT. BOB Junior and BOB!

Three musketeers

Today at Kloostrimetsa smoothies Aapo and Kaira collied with their new friend roughy Uru. They collied a lot, playd some catch and frisbee and just enjoyd the three musketeers company.

Prospecting the elbow and hips joints

Yesterday, 2. december we went to Billys dog-clinic and roentgen-prospected the elbow and hips joints.

Results: Hips: A/A Elbows: 0/0

One year has passed..

1. december passed one year from the time when Aapo came to his new home.











I have to confess that my life wasn't so full of happiness and expeditious before Aapo came in to my life.




He has made so much differents and changed my life-tempo as well viewpoint.


Here is Aapo with his first toy, that broke the record of the very best before time - it was eligibility for record 1 day :)

He is just fabulous dog (smart, lovely, active, friendly, obedient, etc). Best birthday gift that I ever have done to myself :)

As one smart person said: "smooth collie is a friend for a life-time!"

... and that is sooo true! ;)
