National dog show in Rakvere

On October 25-th 2008 we participated in the national drive-in Dog Show in Rakvere, Estonia.

Judge: Kresten Scheel (Denmark)

Characterization: 1 year 2 months, good size, correct long head with parallel plains in profile, wellset ears, good neck, topline could be slightly stronger, front legs could be little more under body, good chest, well hind quarters, good coat, moves nice, seen from all sides.

Result: EXCELLENT (SP, pink ribbon). We got PI 1, BOS Jun, BOS title and our second JUN SERT.

And for last some very good news, this time Aapo's sister Shella was a supriser, she was PEJ1, BOB Jun and PE2 :) congratulations!

Collie Smooth Kaira

Aapo has one good collie smooth friend, her name is Kaira (her webpage http://www.varia.ee/kaira/index.html).

They like to run out their foolishness and practise speeding. Their's no better friend then a smoothy ;)

Sügiskoerus 2008

Today we participated in Sügiskoerus, in hobby-class (more info at http://www.koerus.ee/Sugiskoerus-2008-seikluskutse). This time it was arranged in adventure centre in Männiku, Harjumaa. The distance in A-class was 3,3 km, H-class 2,7 km and in puppy class 1,6 km. In our opinion the landscape and orientating was hard, but the lessons for dogs were pretty easy. So I think next year we try to participate in A-class. But surely next time we prepare more, learn the orientating rules and signs before and train our brawn, etc.

Out of 61 participant in H-class we got 47th place, time was 1:36:27
